Fly to Venice for a two-night stay at the Hotel Gabrielli in this city built on over a hundred small islands.

Cruise to Murano Island and tour Italy’s famous glass factory. In Venice, visit St. Mark’s Square, cross the Bridge of Sighs and ride by gondola along the centuries-old canals past lavish palaces.

Visit the small hill town of Assisi with its winding medieval streets; birthplace of St Francis, and enter the Basilica. Continue to Rome for a three night stay at the Grand Hotel Palatino.
