Daily Itinerary:
Day 1 & 2   Tues. & Wed., April 17 & 18             Tel Aviv, Israel                              (D)
Fly to Tel Aviv, staying two nights in Tel Aviv, Israel’s cosmopolitan capital city.
Day 3  Thurs., April 19        Jaffa, Tel Aviv & Night Lights Tour                       (B, D)
Explore Jaffa, the ancient port city linked with biblical stores of Solomon, Jonah and St. Peter. 
Wander through its Artist Quarter with views of the Mediterranean Sea. Enjoy a Tel Aviv Night Lights Tour of this vibrant city.
Day 4 Fri., April 20               Caesarea & Nazareth & the Church of the Assumption        (B, D)
Travel to ancient Caesarea with its Roman, Byzantine and Crusader ruins. In Jesus’ boyhood home of Nazareth, enter the Church of the Annunciation and view Mary’s Well. Stay two nights in 
Tiberias, on the Sea of Galilee.  
Day 5 Sat., April 21                 Capernaum, a Kibbutz & Northern Galilee                         (B, L, D)
Begin at the ancient fishing village of Capernaum, Jesus’ base during his Galilean ministry. Dine at a working kibbutz and learn about communal life. Finish the day at the Banias Nature Reserve, one of Osrael’s most naturally beautiful places.
Day 6 Sun., April 22               Jordan River, Yardenit, Beit She’an and Jerusalem                 (B, D)
Travel to the Jordan River and Jordan Valley to the archaeological site of Beit She’an, dating back 
to King Saul. Settle in for four nights in Jerusalem, a holy city to three religions.
Day 7  Mon., April 23               Jerusalem Old City & Jewish Quarter                                       (B, D)
Walk through Jerusalem’s walled Old City and follow Christ’s footsteps where he carried the cross. Enter the Church of the Holy Sepulchre built on the crucifixion site. Visit the Room of the Last 
Supper and the traditional Tomb of King David. Tonight, take in a sound and lazer spectacular telling Jerusalem’s history.
Day 8 Tues.,  April 24               Jeruselem New City & Bethlehem        (B)
At the stunning Israel Museum view the Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed, and the 
miniature model of Jerusalem during Second Temple period. Then, to Yad Vashem, Memorial to the Holocaust
on the Mount of Remembrance. Cross into the Palestinian Authority to Jesus’ birthplace of Bethlehem and the Churchof the Nativity, encircled by three convents: Franciscan, Greek Orthodox & Armenian Orthodox.
Day 9  Wed., April 25        Masada & the Dead Sea                                                                      (B, D)
Ascend to Masada’s cliff-top fortress where in AD 70 1,000 Jewish zealots killed their families and themselves rather than surrender to Roman legions. At the Dead Sea you may float in the mineral-rich water.
Day 10 Thurs., April 26      Negev Desert to the Red Sea            (B)
Journey through the Negev Desert to the final resting place of David Ben Gurion, Israel’s founder and first Prime Minister. Arrive for a three-night stay in Eilat, at the northern tip of the Red Sea. 
Day 11 Fri., April 27            A Day in Petra, Jordan                   (B, L)
Travel down a narrow canyon to ancient Petra, carved into sandstone cliffs. Explore the most beautiful monuments of this breathtaking site, including the Treasury, the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs, and Pharaoh’s Castle. 
Day 12 Sat., April 28           King Soloman’s Mines                      (B)
Explore King Soloman’s Mines where copper ore has been mined since ancient times. View the distinctive rock formations and the ancient ruins dotted throughout the valley. 
Day 13 & 14     Sun. & Mon., April 29 & 30   Tel Aviv & Home   (B)
Return to Tel Aviv. Fly to San Francisco, with transfers to Manteca, Stockton & Lodi.
