Discover Old-World palaces, castles and landscapes while enjoying all two-night stays in fairytale cities. Tour Vienna’s Schoenbrunn Palace, watch Budapest’s stunning skyline from a Danube dinner cruise and take in Mozart and Strauss’ music  in Vienna, the city in which they resided.
Daily Itinerary:
Day 1
& 2 Fri. & Sat., March 22 & 23         Warsaw, Poland                                                (Day 2 D)
Fly to Warsaw, Poland’s capital city for a two-night stay. 

Day 3 & 4  Sun. & Mon., March 24 & 25    Warsaw & Wilanow Palace         (Day 3 B  Day 4 B,D)
Explore Warsaw along the Royal Route with its historic monuments to the Warsaw Ghetto. 
Walk cobblestone streets to Market Square. Tour Wilanow Palace, the royal summer residence 
Enter the Paulite Monastery, home of the Black Madonna. Enter the world’s biggest underground church carved into the  Wieliczka Salt Mine by miners.  Stay two nights in Kraków.
Day 5
& 6 Tues. &  Wed., March 26 & 27 Medieval Krakow                        (Day 5 B, Day 6 B,D)
For nearly six centuries Kraków reigned as the Poland’s capitol. Explore the lovely city including 16th century Wawel Royal Castle District and enter the Jewish Quarter. Continue to the Old Town and Market Square. Drive into the countryside for a poignant visit to nearby Auschwitz. Travel to quaint Orawka to view St. John the Baptist Church, built in 1651. Continue through the scenic Tatra Mountains and Slovakia to reach the Danube Valley for a 2-night stay in Budapest.

Day 7 Thurs., March 28                                 Buda + Pest = Budapest                                           (B, D)
Take a Budapest city tour, beginning at Pest, then cross the river to the Buda Hills & the Fisherman’s Bastion for panoramic views of the city. Explore the stunning Parliament and view Hungary’s Crown Jewels. This evening, enjoy a Danube dinner cruise and take in the spectacular skyline from the comfort of a private boat.
Day 8
& 9   Fri. & Sat., March 29 & 30    Vienna, Bratislava & a Concert                                (B)
Travel to Vienna for a 2-night stay. Drive along the Ringstrasse lined with magnificent buildings, and tour the magnificent Schonbrunn Palace. Enjoy a concert of Mozart and Strauss music. 
Discover Bratislava, Slovakia’s capital, famous for its charm and beauty, winding lanes and medieval courtyards, nestled between the Castle Hill and the Danube River. Return to Vienna for an evening in a cozy wine tavern in the Vienna woods including a hearty meal, wine and music. 
 
Day 10
& 11   Sun. & Mon., March 31 & Apr. 1    Arrive in Prague          (Day 10 B  Day 11 B, D)
Travel to Prague, the Czech Republic for a 2-night stay. Enjoy some free time in this “City of a Thousand Spires.” Tour fairytale Prague, including the Hradcany Royal Castle District. Enjoy magnificent views of the city and Charles Bridge below and visit St. Vitus Cathedral. 

Day 12 Tues., April 2                          Homeward Bound                                                                  (B)
Fly  to San Francisco, returning via motor coach to Manteca, Stockton and Lodi.
