valleys. Experience a wildlife safari at dusk, a float trip down the scenic Snake River, and a
performance of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.




Daily Itinerary:

Day 1	Mon., June 5th To Idaho Falls (D) Fly to Salt Lake City then travel through Idaho’s fertile potato fields, staying overnight in Idaho Falls, on the bank of the Snake River.

Day 2	Tues., June 6th Yellowstone & Old Faithful (B) Enter Yellowstone, America’s first national park and a land of natural beauty and geoglogic oddities. Watch Old Faithful’s eruption, explore the Midway Geyser Basin and stroll along the Fountain Paint Pots Trail. Stay two nights in West Yellowstone.

Day 3	Wed., June 7th Yellowstone Wildlife Safari (B, L) Break into small groups with naturalists and travel into the Lamar Valley for a Wildlife Safari searching for elk, bison, moose, wolves and bear which frequently make appearances in the area. At Mammoth Hot Springs walk a loop trail through the colorful terraced formations of calcium carbonate. Meet the park’s two top predators at the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center.

Day 4	Thurs., June 8th Yellowstone’s Grand Canyon & Grand Tetons (B) Visit the awe-inspiring Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and its Upper and Lower Falls, then travel through Hayden Valley, famous for large herds of buffalo and other wildlife. Enter Grand Teton National Park, known for its stunning mountain peaks, glaciers, and alpine lakes. Stay two nights in the western town of Jackson Hole.

Day 5	Fri., June 9th Snake River Float Trip & the Tetons (B) The Grand Tetons create a spectacular backdrop to a Snake River float trip as river guides point out wildlife, explain the geography, and share local history. Visit historic Jackson Lake Lodge before returning to charming Jackson Hole with time to explore.

Day 6	Sat., June 10th Salt Lake City (B, L, D) Travel through the rugged Snake River Canyon to Bear Lake for lunch with a view. Continue along the Great Salt Lake’s shoreline on the way to Salt Lake City for a tour and special farewell dinner at The Roof Restaurant overlooking Temple Square. Overnight in Salt Lake City.

Day 7	Sun., June 11th Mormon Tabernacle Choir & Homeward Bound (B) Enjoy a performance of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir (choir schedule permitting) before returning to California with transportation to San Joaquin County.
