Come to the Cambia Christmas Market. This beloved event features over 2 million twinkling Christmas lights, themed vignettes, visits from Santa, cozy fire pits, and delicious treats. It also brings food, drink, music and artisan craftsmen. Visitors stroll the market sipping mulled wine, noshing on gingerbread, and listening to live music.

Visit one of California’s most visited state historical monuments, Hearst Castle. See the world famous landmark and view Mr. Hearst’s celebrated art collection and the warm glow of thousands of holiday lights.




Daily Itinerary:

Day 1	Wednesday, December 13th Cambria Christmas Markets & 2 Million Lights Travel to charming Cambria with lunch en route, staying two nights at the Cambria Pines Lodge. This evening explore the Christmas Market located adjacent to the hotel. Christmas markets date back to 13th-century Germany, and today take place across the globe. These yearly street festivals are characterized by Christmas lights strung throughout the market, turning it into a magical twinkling fairyland.

Day 2	Thursday, December 14th Hearst Castle the Historic Estate in San Simeon (B,D) Explore Hearst Castle, conceived by Wiliam Randolph Hearst, the publishing tycoon with the help of architect Julia Morgan built between 1919 and 1947. Imagine being a guest during your guided tour of the main building called Casa Grande.Tours begin outdoors with several stairs to negotiate on the terraces. The walking tour is 2/3 of a mile andinvolves 140 steps both up and down. Dinner is at Linn’s in Cambria, known for its olallieberry pie, then you have the option of returning to the Christmas Market extravaganza.

Day 3	Friday, December 15th Elephant Seals & Bravo Farms (B) Visit the elephant seal community at San Simeon where bulls will fight for territory and pregnant cows arrive to give birth. If you wish you may opt out of this activity and remain at the hotel until the elephant seal group returns. Lunch and shopping time in Kettleman City.
