Day 1 | & 2. Thurs. & Fri., March 14th & 15th Fly to Tel Aviv, Four Nights in Jerusalem (D)
Transportation from San Joaquin County to San Francisco Airport. Fly overnight to Tel Aviv.
Travel to Jerusalem for a four night stay at the Holy Land Hotel, Jerusalem. |

Day 3 | Sat., March 16th Holocaust Museum & Home Cooked Meal (B, D)
Start at the holocaust museum, Yad Vashem. Tour Ein Kerem one of the most beautiful
Neighborhoods in Jerusalem before enjoying a home-cooked meal with a Palestinian. Family and
traditional oud performance from a local musician. |

Day 4 | Sun., March 17th Courtyard of the Dome and Western Wall (B)
Explore Jerusalem on a walking tour of the Old City starting with the Western Wall and the
Courtyard of the Dome, continue to St. Stephe’s Gate passing the crusader church of St. Anne and
the Pool of Bethesda. Continue along the Way of the Cross (Via Dolorosa) and stop by the Church
of the Holy Sepulchre, built where Jesus is believed to have been crucified, buried and resurrected. |

Day 5 | Mon., March 18th Mount of Olives & Bethlehem (B)
Travel to the Mount of Olives and the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus is said to have prayed
the night before his crucifixion. In Bethlehem visit the Church of the Nativity marking the spot
where Mary is said to have given birth to Jesus. |

Day 6 | Tues., March 19th Masada, Dead Sea & Jericho (B, D)
Travel to the cliff-top fortress of Masada, built by King Herod in 35 B.C. This was the stronghold of Jewish Zealots who held it rather than submit to Roman rule. When the Romans were about to take it, all 960 committed suicide. View the Dead Sea where the water is so salty that you will float. Stay overnight at the Jericho Resorts, Jericho. |

Day 7 | Wed., March 20th Galilee & Nazareth (B)
At the shore of the Sea of Galilee visit ancient Capernaum. See the site of a church said to have been the home of St. Peter. Stop by Talgha where Jesus in said to have performed the miracle of the loaves and fishes. In Nazareth stroll through the Old City and visit the Church of the Annunciation where Mary is said to have received the news of the Immaculate Conception. Spend two nights at the Satori Hotel, Haifa. |

Day 8 | Thurs., March 21st Acree & Haifa (B)
Travel to Rosh Hanikre where white cliffs meet the blue sea. Take the cable car up the cliff to view the spectacular grottoes. In the ancient crusader port of Acre tour the excavated fort of the Knights of St. John. |

Day 9 | Fri., March 22nd Caeesarea, Jaffa & to Tel Aviv (B)
Start at the ancient port city of Caesarea, built in A.D. 24, then on to Jaffa before arriving in Tel Aviv. Overnight at the Prima 75 Hotel, Tel Aviv. |

Day 10 | & 11. Sat. & Sun., March 23rd & 24th Jaffa & Fly Home (B, D)
Explore the 4,000 year old port city of Jaffa before dining in front of the Mediterranean Sea.
Fly overnight to San Francisco, returning by motor coach to San Joaquin County. |
