This tour has it all, the Willamette Valley, staying along the beautiful Oregon Coast, the Oregon Trail,
exploring Portland in depth, Mount St. Helens Volcanic Monument and the Portland Rose Festival.

Daily Itinerary:
Day 1 Mon., June  3rd      Fly to Portland Oregon and Travel Though The Willamette Valley    (D)
Fly to Portland and travel to the heart of Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Tour the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum, home of the “Spruce Goose” built by Howard Hughes. Continue to Newport
for a two-night stay at the Elizabeth Oceanfront Suites. Enjoy a hosted dinner along the wharf.

Day 2 Tues., June 4th         Oregon Coast Aquarium & Cruise on the MV Discovery                     (B)
Begin our day with a visit to the Oregon Coast Aquarium, home of over 15,000 inhabitants of the
sea and shore all over the Oregon Coast. Enjoy an afternoon cruise aboard the MV Discovery where docents will bring aboard sea life for your enjoyment and education. Roast marshmallows smores
on the outdoor patio of the hotel overlooking the ocean.
Day 3 Wed., June 5th           Albany Carousel Museum & The Oregon Trail                                   (B,L)
Back to the Willamette Valley to visit the Albany Carousel Museum that features a menagerie of 
hand-carved animals. Discover the triumphs and challenges of those who came west to Oregon City, home of the end of the Oregon Trail. We then will travel on to Portland to check into the Embassy Suites Downtown for a three-night stay in the heart of Portland.
Day 4 Thurs., June 6th         Portland's Rose Test Gardens and Cruise the Willamette River     (B,L)
Visit the Portland’s International Rose Test Gardens in Washington Park. Founded in1917, it’s the oldest official continuously operated public rose test garden in the United States and features over 10,000 rose bushes. Board the Spirit of Portland for a luncheon cruise down the Willamette River. Experience the Portland Rose Festival’s Float Barn and see the floats up close and personal that will be part of the Grand Floral Parade.
Day 5  Fri., June 7th           Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument                            (B,L,D)
Cross the Columbia River into Washington, as you explore Mt. St. Helens National Volcanic
Monument. Travel the highway through the monument, pausing at several overlooks and visitor
centers to get a full appreciation of the destruction that occurred on May 18, 1980, when the
volcano erupted. Lunch is included in a family-owned café along Spirit Highway. Return to
Portland for our early farewell dinner.
Day 6 Sat., June 8th         Portland's Annual Grand Floral Parade                                                      (B)  
Portland’s Annual Grand Floral Parade, located inside of the Veterans Memorial Auditorium.
You’ll have an excellent view of the many floats and entries as they pass through the building.
There’s even a pre-parade show! Fly to Sacramento, transfers to Lodi, Stockton, & Manteca.
