| Day 1 | - 3 Wed. - Fri., Jan. 14 - 16 Fly to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Day 3-B, D)
Fly overnight to Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, staying two nights at the Le Meridien Dubai Hotel. Travel to the 124th floor of the Burj Khalifa, the world’s highest building, for an outstanding 360 degree view. Take a city tour, including Dubai’s architectural wonders and a dune bashing trip into the desert sand dunes to dine under the stars.

| Day 4 | Sat., Jan. 17 Nairobi, Kenya & Travel North to Aberdare Highlands (B, D)
Fly to Nairobi, then travel to the Aberdares Country Club for an overnight stay.

| Day 5 | Sun., Jan 18 Aberdares National Park & Samburu National Reserve (B, L, D)
This morning we continue our journey north to the Samburu National Reserve, staying two nights at the Samburu Intrepids Camp. During an afternoon game drive, explore the grassy plains of Samburu on the banks of the Ewaso Ngiro River, home to an abundance of game species, including Grevy Zebra, Reticulatied Giraffe, Lion, Elephant, Somali Ostrich, Gerenuk, and Cape Buffalo.

| Day 6 | Mon., Jan 19 Samburu Wildlife (B, L, D)
Take an early morning game drive then relax at the lodge before an afternoon game drive
searching for animals large and small. Samburu’s grassy plains are home to a wide variety of
animals large and small, including ostriches, dik-diks (miniature antelope), wart hogs, and more.

| Day 7 | Tues., Jan 20 Sweetwaters Serena Camp (B, L, D)
Travel to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, staying overnight at the Sweetwaters Serena Camp. Take an
afternoon game drive searching for the conservancy’s famed rhinoceros.

| Day 8 | Wed., Jan 21 Lake Naivasha & Crescent Island (B, L, D)
Depart for the Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge for a one night stay. Enjoy an afternoon boat ride past hippos and seabirds to Cresent Island where there are no predators so you may choose to walk near wild herd animals or take a less strenuous walk among animals of a local game preserve.

| Day 9 | & 10 Thurs. & Fri., Jan 22 & 23 Masai Mara (B, L, D)
Stay two nights in the Mara Leisure Camp. Take an afternoon game drive the first day and
morning and afternoon game drives the second day. Perhaps Kenya’s most famous game preserve, lions and other predatore are often seen there. |

| Day 11 | & 12 Sat. & Sun., Jan 24 & 25 Karen Blixen Museum, Giraffe Center & Homeward Bound (B, L)
In Nairobi visit the Karen Blixen Museum, home of the woman who inspired the book and
movie “Out of Africa”. At the Giraffe Centre, elegant giraffe curl their long tongues around the food you feed them. Stop at the Hilton Gardens Hotel to shower and change, put your feet up or simply take a nap before flying to Dubai, then on to San Francisco with motor coach transfers to Manteca, Stockton and Lodi. |
