Fly to Sydney, Australia, spending three days exploring. Board the Emerald Princess for a 13-day New Zealand cruise. Depart Sydney for the Bay of Islands, on the North Island of New Zealand. Visit the highlights of New Zealand including Auckland, Tauranga, the wine-centered Marlborough region of Picton, Christchurch, & Victorian Dunedin.  One of the highlights of this tour is the scenic cruising of Fjordland National Park on the South Island of New Zealand including Milford Sound.

Daily Itinerary:
Day 1 & 2  Tues. & Wed., Feb. 8 & 9                      Fly Overnight to Sydney, Australia
Fly overnight to Sydney, Australia. You will lose a day crossing the international date line and regain it on your return to the United States.
Day 3 & 4  Thurs. & Fri., Feb. 10 & 11    Explore Sydney, One of the Worlds Most Beautiful Cities
Land in Sydney and tour the city. Visit the Featherdale Wildlife Park, where you will come face to face with unique Australian Animals - Kangaroos, Tasmanian Devils,  Wallabies, Emus & Koalas.
Day 5 Sat., Feb. 12             The Sydney Opera House and Sail Away On The Majestic Princess
Tour the iconic Sydney Opera House which looks like white “sails” and contrasts with Sydney Harbor’s deep blue. Enjoy some final touring in Sydney then board the Majestic Princess to sail into the South Pacific to New Zealand.
Day 6 & 7  Sun. & Mon.,  Feb. 13 & 14                       Sail Into The South Pacific Ocean
Enjoy the many amenities aboard the beautiful Emerald Princess the newest ship in the Princess fleet, launched in 2017. At Princess Theater take in the Broadway style productions at sea.
Day 8 Tues., Feb. 15        Bay of Islands-The Maori, The Whalers, Missionaries & Captain Cook
Some of the highlights include the Glow Worm Cave & Puketi Kauri Forest.
Day 9 Wed., Feb. 16  Auckland, Largest City of NZ
Created by 60 volcanoes, this cosmopolitan city boasts the country’s best museums and cultural institutions.
Day 10 Thurs., Feb. 17                    Tauranga - Heart of the  Maori
The highlights include the Maori culture and Rotorua the playground of New Zealand with many activities.
Day 11 Fri., Feb. 18                                          A Day At Sea 
A chance to rest and enjoy the activities aboard the ship.
Day 12 Sat., Feb. 19            Picton, The Marlborough Region
Set on the beautiful Marlborough Sound, Picton is near the famous Marlborough wine region.
Day 13 Sun., Feb. 20                    Christchurch (Lyttlelton)
The most English city in New Zealand. Tour the English-style gardens and drive past a cathedral.
Day 14 Mon., Feb. 21                Dunedin (Port Chalmers), The Edinburgh of New Zealand
Perched on the hills above one of New Zealand’s loveliest harbors, this city dates back to the 1860’s
Day 15 Tues., Feb. 22              Fjordland National Park (Scenic Cruising) with Milford Sound
New Zealand’s largest national Park was formed millennia ago by massive glacial flows that carved deep fjords into the coast of New Zealand’s South Island including the famous Milford Sound.
Day 16 & 17  Wed. & Thurs., Feb. 23 & 24              Days At Sea
After four days of touring, enjoy two beautiful days at sea on the way back to Sydney, Australia. Remember, this is summer in the Southern Hemisphere with lovely warm weather.
Day 18 Fri., Feb. 25          Arrive into Sydney & Fly Home
Disembark in Sydney and fly non-stop to San Francisco on United Airlines before returning by motor coach to San Joaquin County.
