Daily Itinerary:

Day 1	Friday, December 12th Travel to the Gold Country & “A Christmas Carol” (D) Travel into the Gold Country to experience a true Christmas Holiday Theatre Getaway. Start the day with a visit to the Oakdale Cheese & Specialties, with its handcrafted Dutch Gouda cheese and wonderful bakery items. Continue on to Jamestown with an independent lunch at the Chicken Ranch Casino Resort. In the afternoon you will have time in downtown Sonora for your last minute Christmas shopping. This evening enjoy the performance of “A Christmas Carol”. This audience-favorite adaptation of Charles Dickens’ time-honored tale comes to the Fallon House Theatre in Sonora. It’s Christmas Eve, and the greedy Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by a succession of divine spirits who force Scrooge to confront his regrettable youth, his icy present devoid of kindness, and what his future holds if he doesn’t change his miserly ways.

Day 2	Saturday, December 13th Shopping & “Million Dollar Quartet Christmas” (B,L) After a good nights sleep, enjoy a visit enjoy a visit to the Tuolumne County Museum, known for its collection of historical information and images of the Gold Rush. This afternoon your hosted lunch will be at The Peppery. The highlight of the day is “Million Dollar Quartet Christmas”. Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and Elvis Presley come together to celebrate the holidays in a knock-out Holiday musical experience! Sun Records, now festively decorated with a Christmas tree, garland, and mistletoe, rings with sounds of the season and the chart toppers that made the “Million Dollar Quartet” famous. The gang is up to their usual antics as we journey through stories of Christmas past, present, and future. It’s a jam-packed afternoon of holiday hits that will get you into the holiday spirit.
