Day 1 | Tues., February 24th Travel To Bakersfield & Elmer's Bottle Tree Ranch (L)
Travel south to Bakersfield and enjoy lunch at Frugatti’s Italian Restaurant. After lunch head east along Highway 58 before turning south to discover Elmer’s Bottle Tree Ranch, one of the most well-known roadside attractions of Route 66, celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2026. At Elmer’s, you’ll wander through a forest of “bottle trees” and learn the story behind the kitschy stop, a lifelong passion of former owner Elmer Long. Continue to Victorville, where you’ll find your accommodations for the evening at the Holiday Inn Victorville.

Day 2 | Wed., February 25th Route 66 Museum, Palm Springs Tramway & Riviera Resort (B,L)
Learn the history of Route 66 at the California Route 66 Museum in Victorville before our hosted lunch in Hesperia. Travel south to the desert community of Palm Springs, known as the movie colony for the stars of Hollywood. Travel to the top of Mt. San Jacinto on board the Ariel Tramway, it’s a quick ride up to 8,500 feet, where temperatures between the base and peak can vary by up to 30 degrees! Enjoy the views and then return to the valley floor. Enjoy a two-night stat at the Riviera Resort and Spa, designed in the mid-century modern style, like much of Palm Springs. You’ll feel comfortable surrounded by the waving palm trees enjoying the weather that is great this time of year. |

Day 3 | Thurs., February 26th The Living Desert, Art and Planes & Village Fest (B,L)
Begin your morning with a private tour of The Living Desert, showcasing the unique flora and fauna of the Coachella Valley, more specifically the Colorado Desert. Ever feed a giraffe? Today is your chance! Following an included lunch, you have a choice to make: will you visit the Palm Springs Art Museum, well known for its modern collection, or the Palm Springs Air Museum, with dozens of historic and fully restored aircraft? The choice is yours. Tonight, experience the weekly Village Fest in downtown Palm Springs, an evening market featuring amazing farm-fresh foods, art, handcrafted items, and entertainers on each corner. |

Day 4 | Fri., February 27th Travel West to Pasadena & Roger Rocka's Dinner Theater (B,L,D)
Say farewell to Palm Springs as we head east for a hosted lunch in Pasadena, well known for its
Tournament of Roses Parade. Continue north to Fresno, arriving at our hotel in the late afternoon for time to freshen up before tonight’s performance at Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater. Overnight at the Hampton Inn Fresno Airport.

Day 5 | Sat., February 28th Following the Blossom Trail & Return Home (B,L)
Enjoy a day of discovery as you follow the Fresno County Blossom Trail in search of seasonal blossoms from the wildflowers and the county’s many orchards. While blossoms and wildflowers aren’t guaranteed, there are still lovely landscapes along the way, lunch is also included, in addition to a stop or two at farm stands so you can bring home some fresh produce on this final day of the tour. Arrive home in the late afternoon. |
